Have you ever noticed how easy it is to erase pencil marks from plastic laminate? A wet thumb will do it. I peeled off the label from my tape measure and glued a round scrap of plastic laminate in its place with contact cement. Now whenever I measure anything. I've got a handy spot to jot down the measurement.

For dust-free drum sanding on your drill press, build a sanding table to clamp to your drill-press table as shown in the drawing. The-in. thick Lexan inserts allow you to use different-diameter drums and maintain a % in. maximum clearance between the drum and the insert.
