How it works
Every unit hangs on a simple hook-and-slat system,The hooks are composed of two pieces of multiply birch plywood, glued together, as are the slats. After gluing the slats, shave 1/32" off the inside face of the 3/4" plywood piece using a router table or dado set. Removing this material allows the hooks to drop into the slats without binding.
All of these units are built from multiply plywood of various thicknesses, Make the 1" thick parts by gluing together two pieces of plywood. Some units are nailed and glued together; those that need more strength are screwed and glued.
