Cut a loop to make a square

Making square internal cuts can be a perplexing problem, but here's a simple solution: cut along one leg of the square, and keep cutting past the corner. Loop the saw blade back ami cut the second leg.

KEEP PRESSURE DIRECTLY ABOVE THE BLADE. Whether you're using a top-handle saw, like the one above, or a barrel grip saw, hold the tool so your hand is forward and directly above the blade area. Take care not to force the saw: the Made will break or deflect from the cut line.
