The size and shape of your site box will be determined by what you will carry in it. A small one-hand tote is fine for a limited number of task-specific tools; my touchup box (see the photo on p. 124) was dedicated to the tools I needed to complete cabinet and architectural molding installations. A large box can be designed to contain a number of smaller boxes plus power tools and accessories-add wheels and you can roll it right out of your truck onto the construction site. Finally, you could go the whole nine yards and turn a truck, van or trailer into one massive, rolling toolbox.
